LXI offers a range of English language programs to our students in Tullow:
Our programmes are tailored to meet the needs of students who wish to gain international English language experience and develop confidence speaking English in a business environment. In addition to learning English in a business environment, our programmes provide an opportunity to develop conversational English in fun, relaxing social environments. We have successfully hosted students from Austria, Italy, Poland, France, Greece, Finland and Norway since 2009. We have partnered many Erasmus+ projects as an Irish Partner.
Tullow is an authentic and charming market town in County Carlow, Ireland. It is located on the bank of River Slaney. Tullow offers tourists and visitors many places of attraction and lots of activities. The Tullow Museum is housed in an appealing, small stone, former church at the Slaney River Bridge. It displays an impressive collection of material detailing the region of Tullow's history. There is another lovely little museum in the tiny town-land of Ardattin in County Carlow. The fully restored and very pretty cottage is crammed with fascinating vintage items like gramophones, old sewing machines, radios and antique toys.
Altamont Gardens is a must see destination. Large and beautiful old world garden. Lawns and clipped yews slope down to a lake surrounded by rare trees, shrubs and a profusion of roses both old and modern with herbaceous plants scent the air.
If you are a fan of beautiful and tranquil forest walks, Rathwood and Rathwood Garden Centre is the perfect place to spend a day out. Another beautiful place to visit is Hardymount Gardens. Found just outside Tullow, County Carlow, Hardymount Gardens features a wonderful colourful garden that feature many unusual plants and flowers. One of the most interesting locations to visit is Woodlands Falconry and Bird of Prey Centre – at the National Bird of Prey Centre you can meet Hawks, Falcons, Eagles and Owls from all around the world.
The Chocolate Garden of Ireland is considered a tourist attraction and is a true heaven for lovers of chocolate and ice cream. It offers a truly authentic experience through Chocolate Workshops, held regularly. And serving Ireland’s best hot chocolate in a cosy coffee shop.
